When he founded Oasis, David’s goal was to educate people in living their lives without addiction. Early on in his life, he became aware that drugs and alcohol were becoming a problem in America.

Pierre Pean-The Medical Doctor

Out of all the psychiatrists in Florida, Pierre Pean is one of the most respected and admired. The University of Haiti is where he proudly graduated from. He received his Psychiatric Residency from South Beach Psychiatry Hospital Hillside in New York. Throughout different dual diagnosis treatment facilities and mental health clinics in Miami and Broward County, he has used his skills as a Medical Director, Attending Physician, and Psychiatric Consultant. He also has ties to the South Broward Hospital Network and the North Broward Hospital Network.

Dr. Bet Freeman, Psychologist

Dr. Bet Freeman became a member of the team in Oasis Pompano Beach in April 2012, as Clinical Director. She earned an undergraduate degree and studied addiction at Nova Southeastern University. She then graduated with honors and got a doctoral degree in clinical and forensic psychology from the Miami Institute of Psychology and Carlos Albizu University. Dr. Freeman is very familiar with helping people struck with mental diseases, as well as those who have been dually diagnosed. She is amazingly devoted to providing help for each person in need and offers her intelligence and sensitivity to helping people suffering from drug or alcohol abuse.

Mr. Bob Cantwell, Our Director Of Admissions

Bob is 15 years experienced in the addictions field. He has worked in both administration and therapeutic settings, as well as professional counseling. He feels strongly towards the needs of those who suffer from drug and alcohol dependency, and is aware of the troubles they deal with on their journey to sobriety.

Priscilla Berardo is an MHC and NCC; Mental Health Counselor and National Certified Counselor

Priscilla is accredited with a Specialist’s degree in Education, a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, and a Psychology Bachelor’s Degree. She has helped young children, families, and individuals. Priscilla incorporates a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach to help adults deal with anxiety, depression, alcoholism and drug dependency, and other mental illnesses.

Our Health And Wellness Lifestyle Coach Is Clajah Bricc’e

Clajah Bricc’e is our current Wellness Consultant here at Oasis, and she mentours clients who are trying to find themselves, people who struggle with addiction, complex personal problems, and events for special needs children; which she is passionate about. Her selfless character, deep compassion for other people, and true ability to put her place in other people’s shoes are some of what make her a joy to be around. She has been a major help to big-name Sports Agents, lending a hand with boosting their customers by offering a 3 Tier idea: Body, Mind, and Spirit. For 20 years, Clajah Bricc’e has spent most of her time trying to make people’s lives better. It’s her calling, her dream, and what she is meant to pursue. Her objective is to continue teaching clients and motivating them to live a life of fulfillment that pertains to the body and the mind. To continue to make people alert, familiarizing them with what “prevention is better than cure” means. It’s never a bad time to give yourself the chance for a fresh start.
